According to the staff, this is the first 3M 100% warm material made entirely of recycled PET bottles and has obtained international patents. In addition to environmental protection, the material has thermal insulation properties comparable to down, and has the characteristics of being washable without deformation, breathable and lightweight.

The materials in the 4 containers show the process of which PET plastic granules have undergone three changes through technical means, and they are eventually 100% recycled into high-quality clothing. Staff also said that last year 3M Technology could only recycle 75% of plastic bottles. This exhibition project reflects technological innovation.

Using this laundry detergent can save 10,000 liters of water a year. At the same time, posters in the pavilion show that in order to reduce the amount of plastic used, all Kao products are implementing refills and innovating the appearance of refills and packaging containers. Known data show that by this means, as of 2017, the brand had cut weight in Japan by 74%.
